Icing on the Cake
I have one more thing to throw into the mix for Friday night, and this will be a blast. My good buddy James and his band are playing a gig at the Waldorf, where they will be taking the stage at about 10. For whoever is interested, the cover is $12--dirt cheap for the talent you will see--and we will be using cabs or some variant thereof (super-rickshaws?) to go check it out, where we will party some more before coming back here to party some more, or head our separate ways for those of us not into staying up late (the sensible types--you know who you are--good for you). Also playing there will be Moka and some other guys, flyer is below.

I have been getting some not-unexpected feedback that this may complicate things significantly for some of you (see Davin's comment on the previous post). You know what? Fuck you! You think LIFE is SIMPLE??? Ok I'm kidding, hahaha.
I should point out that this is an optional activity--granted, a very fun option at that--and there is no punishment for non-participation, but in the event of a tie during the Ugly Shirt Contest, we will go back and review your attendance at the Waldorf as a primary criteria of the Tiebreaker round. Ok, given the circumstances, it's highly unlikely that any of us will be heading down to the Waldorf on Friday night, however I will keep you informed as to further shows that James and his band are doing as they are very good.
